FourFoxes sends two kinds of alert email, and each admin and owner decides for themselves which to receive.
- Open Account Team from the account menu.
- Find the Email alerts card.
- Check or uncheck:
- CCP failure alerts: an email when a critical control point check fails on this account.
- Calibration reminders: a nightly digest when instruments become due or overdue for an accuracy check or calibration.
- Click Save.

Both alerts are on by default for new admins and owners. The settings affect only your own inbox; you cannot subscribe or unsubscribe someone else. Members and Production Team users do not receive these emails; the alerts exist so someone responsible always hears about deviations.
If every admin and owner has turned an alert off, the Team page shows a warning that no one on the account receives it. Treat that warning seriously: a failed CCP check with nobody notified is exactly the situation the alert exists to prevent.
Each failed check sends exactly one alert email, and each instrument's due-date crossing appears in one digest. Turning an alert off does not delete the underlying records; everything stays in the logs.
