Ingredients and suppliers

Record purchases, link lots to batches, and trace anything in a recall.

  • Link ingredient lots to a batch

    On the batch's Edit page, scan the QR code from the ingredient purchase label to link its lots to the batch.

  • Record an ingredient purchase

    Add the purchase under Purchasing, one line per ingredient lot, with the supplier lot number and expiration date on each line.

  • Scan a supplier invoice

    Photograph the invoice, let FourFoxes read it, review the extracted lines, and save. The result is a normal ingredient purchase.

  • Trace a lot in a recall

    Click Trace back on a batch or Trace forward on a purchase. FourFoxes walks the chain and tells you if any records are missing.
