Import your batch history

Use the guided importer to bring in your production history from CSV or Excel, or the quick CSV upload for simple bulk adds.

There are two ways to get batches in bulk into FourFoxes.

The guided importer (admin or owner) is built for moving your history in when you start.

  1. Open Import history from the account menu.
  2. Upload your CSV or Excel export, up to 25 MB or 50,000 rows. Older .xls files are not supported; re-save as .xlsx or .csv.
  3. Follow the four steps: confirm the sheet and header row, confirm which products your spreadsheet names map to, map your columns to FourFoxes fields, and finish.
  4. The summary shows batches committed, products created, rows skipped as already imported, and rows quarantined for review.

Products are never created silently from a name; you confirm each one. Rows that were already imported and have not changed are skipped, so re-running a file is safe. Historical rows do not trigger compliance alerts. After committing, an optional step can backfill pH values into CCP monitoring records.

The quick CSV upload is for simple bulk adds later. It has no menu entry; go directly to /app/batches/import/. The CSV takes columns like product_name, fermentation_start, packaging_date, batch_code, batch_ph, and batch_condition, up to 5 MB and 5,000 rows. A sample CSV is available on the page. The upload runs in the background; rows that fail come back as an error CSV you can download for 24 hours, fix, and re-upload.

One guided import at a time

Each account can have one guided import in progress. Coming back to the Import history page resumes where you left off rather than starting over.
