Find a batch with search and filters

Use the search box and filters at the top of the Batches page. Status presets jump straight to common lists like Ready to Package and Overdue.

The Batches page lists every batch in your account, 100 per page, newest start date first.

  1. Open Production, then Batches.
  2. Type in Search Batches to match batch codes, product names, product types, and batch notes, then click Search.
  3. To narrow to one product, pick it under Product. The product choice also applies to search results.
  4. For more control, open More Filters. You can filter by start date range, Batch #, packaging date range, and earliest package date range. Click Update Results.
  5. Click Clear to remove all filters.

Status presets. One click jumps to a common list: All Batches, Bad Batches, Active Batches, Packaged Batches, Ready to Package, Ready in 7 Days, No Ready Date, and Overdue. Ready in 7 Days shows batches that are not ready yet but will be within a week. Overdue shows unpackaged batches that are past their product type's maximum duration. The Today dashboard links straight into the ready lists from its watchlist.

Status badges. Each row shows where the batch stands: Overdue, Fermenting, Bad Batch, Packaged, Ready to package, Not ready, or No ready date. The badge is worked out from the batch's dates and condition, so there is nothing extra to update.

Row actions. Each row has one button for what the batch needs next: Package when it is ready or overdue to package, Confirm count when a packaging run's count was estimated, Runs once it is packaged, and Edit otherwise. The row's other actions are in its ⋯ menu. Click the batch's product name to open it. On a phone the button shows only its icon; hold or hover for its name. Click a column heading to sort by it.

If every one of your product types is fresh (no fermentation tracking), the earliest package column and its filters are hidden, and so are the No Ready Date, Ready in 7 Days, and Overdue presets. A fresh batch counts as ready to package as soon as it is made.

Ready lists skip bad batches

Ready to Package, Ready in 7 Days, No Ready Date, and Overdue only show unpackaged batches in good standing. A batch marked Bad never appears there, even if its earliest package date has passed. Find it under Bad Batches instead.
