Ship finished goods

Click New Shipment, enter the customer and date, pick the lots and quantities, and save. Lot counts update and the customer is on record.

A shipment records which lots left the building, how many units, and who they went to.

  1. Open Inventory, then Packaged Inventory, and click New Shipment.
  2. Enter the Date and the Customer.
  3. Add item lines: pick a Lot and the Quantity shipped. The lot list only shows lots with units remaining.
  4. The FEFO Availability panel beside the form lists your lots per product, first to expire first, so you can pick the right lot without leaving the page.
  5. Click Record Shipment.

Each shipped quantity is subtracted from the lot's units remaining. FourFoxes will not let you ship more than a lot has left, and it will not ship a lot that is still in its stage pipeline. A lot must be Ready for Sale first.

Every shipment appears on the Finished Goods Shipments list, and on the lot's own page under Shipments.

The customer name is your recall record

A forward recall trace follows a lot all the way to "Shipment to {customer}". If a shipment has no clear customer name, that trace ends with a data gap. Write the real customer, not "misc".
