Store your compliance documents

Upload PDFs and office files to the Documents area, organize them in folders, and find them by search when the inspector asks.

The Documents area holds the files that live alongside your records: licenses, lab results, process authority letters, your HACCP plan.

  1. Open Documents, then Upload Document.
  2. Give the document a title (titles must be unique in your account) and a description.
  3. Choose the file. Accepted formats include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text, and ZIP. The size limit is 25 MB per file.
  4. Pick a folder, or leave it unfiled, and click Upload Document.

Folders are flat groups, one level deep. Anyone with the Member role or higher can create folders and upload; renaming or deleting a folder is admin-only. Deleting a folder does not delete its documents; they become unfiled.

Finding things. The list searches by title, filename, folder, and uploader, and sorts by date, title, or file size. Select several documents to move them between folders in one step.

Uploads count against your plan's file storage limit, shared with batch photos.

Document deletion is permanent

Deleting a document removes the file for good, and it takes the admin role. There is no trash bin. If you are not sure, move it to a folder instead.
